Suggested Use and Dose

Science

  • The colon (large intestine) is the terminal portion of the gastrointestinal tract. The digested remains of food are mixed and received in the colon. The remaining nutrients, indigestible fiber, are acted upon by intestinal bacteria. The bacteria produce vitamins like vitamin K and biotin which are then absorbed by the blood.
  • Water and electrolytes are also absorbed along with the food and vitamins in the intestines before the digested food are eliminated from the colon.
